The next version of our Challenger software is to be released in February 2017, which will now include our very own B2B ordering functionality!

This will enhance the navigating officers user experience by allowing them to automatically receive permits for AVCS, ADP and e-NP’s within seconds of submitting the request, reducing the amount of admin time and therefore allowing more time to focus on navigational planning and bridge watch keeping duties in general. A preview is shown on the screenshot below. The system can be controlled by enforcing an ordering limit, set by the office based ship manager, which cannot be exceeded on-board meaning a greater degree of control on expenditure levels. More details of our B2B module will follow in future newsletters, so watch this space…

Also included in the new version are improvements to existing functionality, including:

– Additional tutorial video’s have been added

– Improved user interface, especially within Route Planner module

– Increased speed of ENC updating process

– New ‘replaced by’ function for e-NP and Misc publications.
