On Saturday 25 June 2022, the digital security certificate that ensures delivery of ENC update data in the AVCS Online Updating Service (AVCS-OUS), will expire.
To ensure that users can continue to download data via the AVCS-OUS, a new certificate will be issued on Monday 20 June 2022 which will need to be installed by AVCS-OUS users. AVCS-OUS users will receive a notification when they request an update from the UKHO from the 20 June, of the steps that they need to take to update the certificate. After 25 June 2022, users who have not installed the new certificate will not be able to request catalogues or ENC updates.
Administrator privileges may be required to install the certificate, if so, users should contact their IT Department.
