Passage Planning
The Passage Planning feature enhances the Route Planning module by generating a detailed PDF report summarizing all the essential information for a planned route. It pulls data directly from the Route Planning module, so you can easily create a printable record of your voyage. This ensures an instant access to essential navigational data, streamlining the planning process and improving compliance.
How It Works?
Once a route is planned to use the Auto Routeing module, the Passage Planning feature compiles a structured report (PDF), including:
- Voyage Summary: Vessel name, passage name, total distance, duration, average speed, departure & arrival details.
- Route Details: Waypoints with coordinates, speeds, estimated times of arrival (ETA), distances, and leg durations.
- Paper Charts: List of required charts, their edition details, and update status.
- Paper Publications: Reference materials essential for the passage.
- Digital Publications (ADP/ENP): Digital resources with validity and subscription details.
- Digital Charts: Electronic navigational chart (ENC) coverage relevant to the route.
